[JDEV] legal?


Hi everyone I'm new to this list!

Anyways I was wondering is this whole project legal, I mean just the
part with being able to communicate with the ICQ, AOL, etc. clients?
Like isn't there any copyright infringement with the use of their
protocols or whatever? Am I missing something here?
